Sensitive to ampicillin, rifampicin, streptomycin, chloramphenicol and kanamycin, and insensitive to kanamycin.
Isolated from a deep-sea hydrothermal vent chimney at the Iheya North hydrothermal field in the Mid-Okinawa Trough in Japan.
