Description
Eosinophil peroxidase deficiency is a rare autosomal recessive abnormality of eosinophil granulocytes characterized by decreased or absent peroxidase activity and decreased volume of the granule matrix. Eosinophils are a hallmark of allergic diseases and helminth infection.
