Comment
Involved in the biosynthesis of teichoic acid linkage units in the cell walls of some bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus. This enzyme adds a second glycerol unit to the disaccharide linker of the teichoic acid. cf. EC 2.7.8.12, teichoic acid poly(glycerol phosphate) polymerase.
