Phage isolation, DNA preparation, and annotation analysis were
performed at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, NV. The
environmental sample was collected from a garden bed at the UNLV
community garden. The soil had a black/brown color and came from an
area with partial shading. The time of collection was 10:31am on
9/3/19. The the ambient temperature was 36 F, humidity was 23%, and
wind speed was 4mph. Sequencing by Illumina with 1084x average
coverage depth, and assembly with Newbler and Consed, were
performed at the Pittsburgh Bacteriophage Institute, Pittsburgh,
PA. Supported by Science Education Alliance, Howard Hughes Medical
Institute, Chevy Chase, MD.
