CC       intracellular Fe(2+) ion and storing it in the form of Fe(3+)
CC       oxyhydroxide mineral. One hydrogen peroxide oxidizes two Fe(2+) ions,

CC       similarity). It protects DNA from hydroxyl radical-mediated cleavage.
