CC exchanger. Mainly acts as a chloride channel, which mediate uncoupled
CC chloride anion transport in an alternate-access mechanism where a

CC thiosulfate- sensitive anion exchanger the exchange of chloride for
CC bicarbonate ions across the cell membrane.
