Last change: 05.Nov.2024 # This directory contains files used for the analyses. Existing files: # Bin, MAG sequences of giant viruses in Uranouchi Inlet We then applied an in-house pipeline to 42 coastal metagenomes extracted from water samples within the 0.22–0.8 μm size fraction collected in the Uranouchi Inlet, Kochi Prefecture, Japan. Both the initial bin set and the final nonredundant MAG set of giant viruses are available in this directory, along with the gene profiles. Raw_Bins MAGs_Genomes MAGs_Genes # inStrain profiles The back-mapping files were used as input for InStrain v1.0.0 to generate single nucleotide variant (SNV) profiles at both the genome and gene levels. SNVs were identified exclusively at sites with a minimum coverage depth of 5-fold. Both profiles are organized based on mapped reads (i.e., by samples). inStrain_Profiles_gene inStrain_Profiles_SNV Reference: Fang Yue*, Lingjie Meng*, Jun Xia, Yasushiro Gotoh, Tetsuya Hayashi, Keizo Nagasaki, Hisashi Endo, Yusuke Okazaki, and Hiroyuki Ogata. “Genome-resolved year-round dynamics reveal a broad range of giant virus microdiversity.” bioRxiv(2024).
