Seven L. axin axin female adults were collected from each of the following host plants: Acaciella angustissima (Ejido Flores Magon, Mpo. Venustiano Carranza), Jatropha curcas, and Spondias purpurea (Chiapa de Corzo City) from the state of Chiapas, Mexico.
Total DNA from the freshly collected insects was extracted.
